Having been lambasted by many in Jazz, I first got a chance to hear Alice thanks to a compilation - Red Hot & Cool some years ago. Since then I bought a couple of her CD's and was astounded that the woman was not revered - it seems that genius will forever go unrecognised by the masses. But provided the music touches one soul it will never be in vain. Thanks Alice. Mon Jun 18 23:10:29 PDT 2007

Who better to pay tribute to the greatest (in my opinion anyway) than the Kozmigroove folk, who are probably the ones responsible for getting most of us into her in the first place. Top class cast. Mon Feb 5 01:54:56 PST 2007
