Racing around dunes and grasslands, avenues and lanes, it is like Need for Speed Carbon or Most Wanted, and actually the newest edition, NFS: Rivals.
On a scale of 1 to 10 I'd give it a strong 8. Ammount of features is almost staggering, and so is its replayability. Outrunning the leaderboards really caughts you and you are right away drawn in. It really reminded me of Asphalt Overdrive. Overall it's a great, challenging free game.
There are no pursuits with the police, but perhaps it is good though as multiplayer asphalt gameplay gives ample opportunity to show your unparalleled underground drag racing skills.
On-screen immense speed gives a feel of actually being there and hurrying with top drivers as seen in TV. Stress spikes are not far and few.
It has very state-of-the-art AI and I've played already ten times in a row or so and it's still fun and enticing. It is kinda kewl to race and beat other racers on 6 or so tracks. Game feels like race with GT cars like lamborghini or asphalt.

Appease your need for speed by racing against other players in multiplayer mode. This overdrive mobile app allows you to race with top racers like a pro in NASCAR or Le Mans. Put your skills to test and beat the leaderboards while pushing your gt car to the limits of your need for speed. Even Need for Speed World started to be repetitive after some time which is not the case in this fast and furious spiritual descendant. Need for Racing: New Speed Car even provides you with the opportunity to customize your car by repainting it in any way you'd like. Underground drag contest mixed with csr racing brings the terminal gameplay experience. The gameplay model is made to put you in the middle of action as you race through the dust rising from the asphalt overdrive. As 8 playtroughs passed I still don't feel tired by this app.

Well Martin,
the music may be "free" to you, but its certainly not free for BendingCorners.

We buy ALL our music (usually from DustyGroove or Amoeba) and pay the bandwidth bills ($100/month) to host this site.

BendingCorners is fortunate enough to have a decent paying day job and thus we don't need to display ads or ask for donations, but the Artists we showcase in our podcasts can use all the funds they can get.
So please, BUY THEIR MUSIC and/or ATTEND THEIR LIVE SHOWS.

Still trying to find something to equal Desert Moments. I love music, lots of different kinds, but your 2005 Desert Moments is an all-time favourite for background that isn't background. It never gets carried away, so we can work while its on. But it's not sleepy, it's not sad, it doesn't bring you down. And no voices to catch your attention--I don't want my attention snagged; I just want to hear the sound. I've played Desert Moments over 3 times in a row, maybe more (that's 3+ hours)and I never get tired of it. Any chance for mo' Desert Mo's? Thanks extremely.

Hi guys
Thanks as always for a great new set - Modern Architecture. But how frustrating - you don't identify the track between Directions/Echoes and what is actually the Five Corner Quintet (rather than Paolo Fedreghini). Any ideas - I love the stripped down contemporary twist on the Don Cherry/Codona style pocket trumpet/bass mix...
Please identify if you can - or put me on the right track. And the Directions track is cool too - no links to sites on this playlist tho'.
I love Bending Corners - been downloading since the start and I then go and BUY!

Jeff:
can you elaborate on your comment that you are "getting tired of the same old same old."?
What do you mean by that?

We have been trying hard to produce monthy jazz-n-groove sets with a wide variety of themes incorporating a number of different genres.

Do you feel the themes are not varied enough? Is the overarching concept of jazz-n-groove too limiting for you? Are the selections not "bent" enough?
What?

We do appreciate that you are a regular listener and very much appreciate your candid comments, but if you want us "to get back into the game", you'll need to tell us what the game is.

Hi, I noticed your recent podcasts are 64kbps, whereas you used to do 128kbps. The last one at higher bitrate was "Stata-sphere". Can you bring back the higher bitrate?

Hi ya!

I just heard about this website and I absolutely LOVE IT! What a wonderfully funky, somewhat obscure selection of music from many musical genres I enjoy in the field of jazz, funk, soul, electronica & hip-hop. Some truly ingenius blends. Keep it coming I say!

As for a recommendation for a future theme, what about jazz songs featuring unusual instruments, such as:
-BUDDY EMMONS: (from the album "Steel Guitar Jazz") featuring of course steel guitar.
-YUSEF LATEEF: one of his many songs that feature oboe.
-BELA FLECK: one of his more jazzy excursions that exploit his banjo.
-HERBIE HANCOCK: "Steppin' In It" from the Man-Child CD featuring Stevie Wonder on harmonica.
-CHARLIE HUNTER: "My Son the Hurricane" that features John Ellis on bass clarinet.
And I know there are others I've heard that feature tuba, french horn, alto flute, and a whole whack of unusual percussion instruments.

Anyway, just thought it could be a rather exotic sounding mix. Regardless, I'm a fan for as long as you're kicking the groove. Thanks!

As a fellow podcaster and faithful listener, I just have to say that your mixes are awesome! However, the only thing that I would recommend is including SOME kind of station ID or something to remind people of what they're listening to. Now that I've finally venture here to your actual website (I initially found you through a podcast directory), I will cut-n-paste your playlists as well...because you never "say what you play."

It gives us great pleasure to present the SingerWanted project to you. We hope you will be able to help us by boosting our profile, which will make it easier for us to reach our objective - to have as many singers as possible put themselves forward as candidates so that we can pick the very best singer for our band. We're convinced that SingerWanted is a totally original, one-of-a-kind project that will benefit not only us, as a group, but also anyone else who is involved in promoting the SingerWanted brand, which is sure to attract a lot of attention and interest. You can find a whole load of information on the project at www.singerwanted.net. We would really appreciate any help you could give us, and would be most grateful if you could mention us in one of your pieces or, better still, devote a little weekly or monthly piece to the project in which you give updates on what's new and list the new candidates. These are just a couple of ideas, and we're sure you could come up with many others, given your expertise in the field. Any support at all from you would be a fantastic bonus. We hope you like our music - check it out at http://www.singerwanted.net
