Desert Moments (64 minutes)
One for the burners. In celebration of Burning Man's 20th anniversary this mix is perfect for lazy moments around camp or solo desert strolls. If you need a break from busy camp life, or are just looking to chill, put on the headphones, play this mix, and head out toward the open desert.

I play this thing most every day, often several times. It is one very very long "song" which doesn't disturb my concentration, yet is alive and vibrant and "real". New Age it Ain't. It really does remind me of some lonely sexy funky wild dicy desert--and I've known a few. It is lonely and gruesome and beautiful. I love it. So does my lady.

Well, its not called "Bending Corners" for nothing. This site and its podcasts are about exploring the "out" side of jazz. Its here to expose listeners to music that is outside the mainstream of jazz.

You realize that Nu Standards was your last cast that was recognizably jazz, right?
